we left león in search of a beach said to be 20 minutes away.
two hours and a rough dirt road later, we ended up at the small fishing town of el transito,
where we spent some time attempting to swim in the rough surf of the black sand beach.
rob and tyson struck up a conversation with the locals
and found out that el transito is a fishing town
and the fishermen hadn't been out to sea in about 20 days since the waves were so rough.
also, rob and tyson was told me that the fisherman said
i was the first asian person they had ever seen in their town.
can you imagine? being the first of my kind to step foot in el transito?
i was making history? pretty humbling.
